He got called up at Christmas and suffered a concussion on Jan 2, from an elbow from Corey Perry of the Ducks. He managed 2 assists in the 4 games he played and is back in the Flyer Lineup now. He's played 5 games this year and is getting 12 to 18 minutes ice time per game.

Hearst is campaigning to be recognized as Hockeyville 2009 on the CBC Hockey Night in Canada.
The town stands to gain financially and I think an NHL team will visit.
North Bay has won it in the past. What we need is for Hearst residents, past and present, to send in stories and submit at least one photo in support of the town's proposal. Check out this link to see the 16 stories already on the board.

According to
Yahoo Sports news this morning, Hearst's golden boy
Claude Giroux has been recalled by the NHL's Philadelphia Flyers. By all accounts, right winger Giroux is to play his first ever
NHL game tonight in Ottawa against the Sens.
Surely today will be an exciting day for fans of Giroux and the
Philadelphia Flyers. We will surely all be watching tonight as he makes his debut! Go Claude Go!
