It’s winter and that means winter carnivals. This weekend there are plenty of carnivals to get involved with. In Moonbeam there’s family skating to music, a card tournament and cribbage. Tomorrow there’s ball hockey, a poker rally on snowshoes, a washer tournament, and a dance at the community centre. Sunday there’s even more on the schedule. In Hearst there’s a snowmobile rally, kids activities, street hockey and a show at the Place des Artes both tonight and tomorrow night. Sunday is another full day of activities with a carnival brunch, street hockey and soapbox races among other things. And if that’s not enough the winter carnival in Cochrane concludes this weekend.
