Fraud and theft charges have been laid against a former Hearst Caisse Populaire employee following a lengthy investigation. During the investigation it was discovered that a quantity of money was stolen from the Caisse and the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation. 48-year old Lisa Lehoux formerly of Hearst has been charged with two counts of theft over $5,000 and two counts of fraud over $5,000. Lehoux is scheduled to appear in Hearst court July 21st. The police investigation continues despite charges being laid.
