An apartment is about $600.00 give or take. At the moment I don't believe it will be difficult to find one. As far as the cost of food, I think it's comparible to everywhere in Canada. You won't find a huge difference in food prices, however, you may find a significant difference as far as gas goes. It's hard to guess how much it would take to live comfortably here since that definition would be different for all. The real difference would be the price of an apartment, and the rest should be somewhat the same as your present cost of living. Hope to see you soon!!!

Since he is a Mexican citizen we will be relying on my salary until his papers come through.

How much are groceries?
