Hearst resident Michel Hachez has nearly finished his run in support of the Terry Fox foundation. He was met yesterday at the Welcome Centre by Kapuskasing Mayor, Alan Spacek and other members of the community. Hachez said he’s running because he lost his mother and a brother to cancer.Hachez began his run in Sudbury and will finish in Hearst on Monday afternoon. Donations to the cause can be made at any Caisse Populaire or to the group as they travel the highway. Hachez and his group were given a room at the Super 8 while they stop in Kap. Hachez will be at A & W today, in support of their fundraising efforts for MS.
