KDHS’s track team was in Hearst yesterday for the first invitational track meet of the season. They came home with lots of firsts and seconds. Elissa Laflamme came first in triple jump, 2^nd in long jump and high jump. Cameron Russell was 2^nd in high jump, discus and 3^rd in javelin. Mickey Heon came in 3^rd in Javelin, 3 in discus and a personal best in shot put. Marissa Petrovic was first in shot put, 2^nd in discus, and 2^nd in javelin. Michele Belanger was 1^st in shot put, 1^st in discus, and 2^nd in javelin. Courtney Barber was 1^st in shot put, 2^nd in discus and 2^nd in javelin. Lauren Empey was 1^st in the 1500m and 1^st in 3000m. The team will be heading to Cochrane next week for the next invitational.
