The Annual Elementary Nordic Basketball tournament was held in Hearst yesterday with schools from Kapuskasing, Hornepayne, Calstock and Hearst, playing in 2 boys’ divisions and 2 girls’ divisions for a total of 19 teams. In Boys A Division Andre Cary beat Jacques Cartier by one point to take the championship. In Boys B division Ecole Catholic St-Louis defeated Clayton Brown by two points. In Girls A division Ecole St. Louis defeated Coeur du Nord and in B division Ecole St. Louis defeated Holy Name by two points. A great time was had by everyone.
