The SAVE team of the OPP will be in the region throughout this holiday weekend. They’ll be out reminding riders of ATV’s about the rules of the road and how fast you can ride and how many riders are allowed on them. ATV riders must always wear their helmet, it’s the law The OPP will also be out on area roads and waterways. This weekend, Officers from Cochrane to Hearst will be patrolling with every available cruiser, all terrain vehicle and vessel. Officers will be concentrating on aggressive drivers, distracted drivers, those speeding, not wearing seatbelts, and motorists who drive while impaired by drugs or alcohol.
