At the provincial volunteer awards ceremony last night in Timmins, a few local residents were recognized for their years of service. Among them is Norm Tousignant of Kapuskasing who has volunteered with the Knights of Columbus for a remarkable 50 years. Camile Levesque of Kapuskasing and Marcel Longval of Hearst were awarded 40 year pins. Many other local recipients had 5, 10, 25 and 30 years of service to a single organization.
